In 2004, Terrin and Melissa Ricehill started growing and nurturing their passion for water gardening to open Ricehill Water Gardens (RWG), Kauai's newest source for aquatic plants, water containers and pond supplies. After two years, RWG has finally opened to the public and is now offering the most extensive aquatic plant choices on Kauai. We offer 21 varieties of tropical water lilies, 19 varieties of hardy water lilies, 6 varieties of lotus and 26 different marginals and bog plants.

The passion that the Ricehill’s experienced has expanded well beyond the plant aspect and now is enveloping pond supplies and pond building. RWG’s nursery is located on an acre of land that also includes three naturally lined ponds. Enjoy the beauty of a ten foot waterfall into a 16 x 11 pond. Or a 50' foot stream with a 16 x16 pond. Like Koi? Check out the perfect size Koi pond with our 20 x 20 pond. Our ponds are made using Aquascape equipment and local rock to give you the natural pond experience without seeing all the black liner and plastic filtration systems.
